Doug Lochhead

With over 30 years of experience, Doug’s specialty lies in working with high net worth business owners and professionals who wish to minimize taxes while preserving their wealth. He is the Founder and Senior Financial advisor at Granite Financial Group, overseeing and guiding the strategy as well as managing his own portfolio of clients. Beginning his career in the corporate world (spending 13 years supporting a large Canadian Chartered Bank), Doug decided to return to his roots as an entrepreneur in 2002. This led to the creation of Granite Financial in 2002. Granite serves clients across Canada.

Doug is proud to be involved with organizations in Manitoba, most notably, he is currently a Board Member of the Winnipeg RBC Convention Centre, and is a Founding Partner of Next Chapter Succession Planning.

Doug is has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
